Furman has produced the chairmen of the board and chief executives of such international businesses as PepsiCo, Delta Air Lines and Frito-Lay, as well as a U.S. Secretary of Education, a state governor and two U.S. congressmen as well as a Nobel Prize Laureate (Go Beyond Furman).
